I want to know what my heritage is. I am not sure and what i have been told was German but that is just what they think, can someone help me find my heritage so i know what i am.
Can i find out what my heritage is by using my last name, German, French, Italian?
Start by asking your parents and grandparents. You could do a search here http://genealogy.about.com/library/surna... Do a search online for "surname origins" Some identical last names are from different countries too.
