I'm not sure if it's pronounced with a "Ch" as in Check or a "Sh" as in Sheep. Please help! :)

I am German/Irish and it is pronounced with a "Sh" as in "Sheep". You should try Google (type in German name Chay) it will give you results. Good Luck!

Reply:Surprisingly it's a feminine name, pronounced Shay and it means "man".

I had thought that Germans pronounced their C's with a K sound (what I learned in school, and it's been many years) - so I would have thought Kay. Glad I looked it up.
