Pizze is the Italian plural for Pizza.
Reply:It's called "Pizze", the e is pronounced like in the word extra.

It is just a germanizing of the italtian word pizza.
Reply:Interesting. Max *ought* to be right, that it's Pizze.

But on pages that Google thinks are in German, there are in fact far more occurrence of "pizza" than of "pizze." Part of this would be that Pizza Hut (for instance) doesn't change its spelling auf deutsch, but it's apparently mostly that German-speakers prefer the straight English spelling to a more germanized one.

Reply:Pizza (m枚glicherweise von arabisch pita f眉r 鈥欱rot鈥? langobardisch bi掳zzo f眉r 鈥欶ladenbrot鈥?oder neapolitanisch pice脿, pizz脿 f眉r 鈥歾upfen鈥? ist ein vor dem Backen w眉rzig belegtes Fladenbrot der neapolitanischen K眉che aus einfachem Hefeteig.
Reply:The same: pizza, but they'd say Pizza with capital "P". It's feminine: die Pizza.
