Need for new born boy a modern turkish name what sounds turkish and german or english
Need for new born boy a modern turkish name what sounds turkish and german or english?
I think ''Teo(man)'' would sound German/English, people would just think it was Theo or something.
Deniz (sea) is also a very beautiful name, and is similar to Denis.
Reply:I think that deniz (in german :dennis),,kenan (keenan),davut ( sounds like David) are very great names,And german people can even speak the names xD. But if you want modern names, there are for example: fatih, deniz(it is also a modern name),davut(also a modern name),Arda(it's very famous in Turkey..and a name of a footballplayer IN galatasaray),Ali edc...
Lean rober is better than rober lean..but rober isn't a turkish name?.
I think, that would be better : Lean Deniz oder Lean Kenan....
Reply:Neither Rober nor Lean is a Turkish name.
Besides, I don't get this, you want to give a Turkish name but you don't want it to sound Turkish. Then, why try to give a Turkish name? Give him a German/English name already...
I guess, by modern, what you mean is, you want it to be only Turkish, and not an Islamic name.?
Anyways, the name "Can" (it is read the same as "John" in Turkish) means "the core of life/soul". But it can be confusing as for how to read. There is also "Cans谋n" meaning "You are soul" which is read just like "Johnson".
Some (non-Islamic) Turkish names i like for boys are:
Mete, Arda, Teo(man), Alp, Aras, Polat, Aslan, Bilge, Bora, Boran, Mert , Ege (the Aegan), Cenk, Cengiz, Demir, Devrim, Deniz, Erdem, Emre, Evren, Kaya, Kartal , Hakan, Koray, Metin, Okan, Sarp, Serkan, Umut, Ural...which have beautiful meanings with no Turkish letter (like 眉,枚) in them.
and they are easy to read. Check out how they sound from this link(Turkish vocal dictionary):

Reply:Altan, Aslan, Baris, 陌brahim...
Reply:Mete (my brother's name): the founder of the Asian Hun Empire
Arman : missing (someone)
Erin : mature
Kaan : ruler
Teoman: ( he can use teo) father of mete han, ruler
Reply:My Turkish/German friends used Davut. This works in both.
Neither Rober nor Lean work in Turkish, sorry.
