What is the perfect name for a male German shepherd?
Badger, that was what my male german shepherds name was when I was a kid. Man I loved that dog!

Reply:A good way to name an animal is based on it's personality. For example, if he's a happy go lucky dog, associate a fun name (i.e. Baxter). If he's a protective type of dog or intimidating (i.e. Zeus).
Reply:I would look at the dog itself and its personality. After that, think about material or living objects that bring out your dog. (Think MASCULINE) For example, if he is fast, I would think of "Lightening" or "Dash". or if he is strong, "Bull" or "Hercules" you could even name him "Midnight" or "Thunder". These are names I would choose. I have a very husky yellow lab who my sister named "Buck", but that is just her.
