What is the name of the rocket used for the apollo project and which german scientist designed it?

Saturn 1B (orbital flights) and Saturn V (for lunar flights).

That ought to get you started.

What is the name of the rocket used for the apollo project and which german scientist designed it?
Wernher von Braun was the lead German scientist. Saturn V is the rocket you are probably looking for.
Reply:It was an Atlas rocket, but I don't know who was involved in its' development - probably dozens.
Reply:Have to be careful here. The spacecraft was the Apollo. The launch vehicle was Saturn. The spacecraft had rockets, but I suspect you mean the launch vehicle.

As for who designed it. One thing you had better realise. Engineering efforts are TEAM efforts. Not to take away any kudos to Werner Von Braun who was NASAs first Director but he would have got nowhere without the rest of his team.
